Plan everyday life
Compare the week you would actually live.
A location becomes easier to assess when you look at the journeys your household makes. Build the same weekly routine for up to three places, record the evidence behind the timings, and keep the other factors that matter alongside the totals.
Your entries stay in this page unless you choose to save or download them. This tool does not send them to Sivana. Save uses this browser on this device; a downloaded backup can be taken elsewhere.
1. Start with your priorities
2. Give each location a name
Use an exact plot, street or property reference where possible. Broad area names can hide differences in the actual journey.
3. Build a representative week
Edit the journey labels and enter the round trips you expect to make each week. Enter 0 for a journey you do not make. Leave an unknown figure blank; it will be flagged as incomplete.
4. Record each route
Select a location below. Use the same destination and travel mode when you want a like-for-like comparison, or explain any difference in the route notes. Check important journeys at the time you would normally make them.

Your weekly travelling time
Each journey uses average one way minutes × 2 × round trips per week. If the outward and return journeys differ, enter their average one way time. Waiting and time spent at the destination are excluded. Missing inputs are omitted and clearly flagged.

A lower travelling total is one consideration. Read it alongside your priorities, route conditions and the confidence you have in the timings.
Check the assumptions
A route estimate and a timed journey carry different evidence. Record the destination, route, travel mode and time of day so another family member can understand the number.
Combine errands when that reflects your routine. Otherwise, adding separate round trips may overstate the travelling you would do. For a monthly appointment, enter a representative weekly frequency and explain your assumption.
Use the total as a conversation starter
Consider access after dark, ease of parking, comfort walking and the journeys someone else in the household will make. This worksheet does not rate neighbourhoods or verify a route’s suitability.
Worked example: 20 minutes one way × 2 × 3 round trips = 120 minutes, or 2 hours each week. This is an illustration, not a measured Hua Hin journey.
