What a rainy day tells you

The source counts a rainy day when at least 0.1 mm is recorded between 07:00 local standard time and 07:00 the following day. It does not measure how many hours it rained. An average of 15.8 rainy days does not mean 15.8 days of continuous rain.

Rainfall and rainy days answer different questions: how much water was recorded, and on how many days some rain was recorded. Read both before drawing a conclusion about a month.

Bring the figures into a viewing

Use the seasonal pattern to plan the questions you ask about shade, sheltered outdoor space and how a home is maintained. Record what you observe at the actual property and the time of your visit.

These station averages do not establish a villa’s drainage, flood exposure, indoor temperature or future conditions. A weather forecast and a property assessment answer different questions from this historical record.
